The article offers solutions to the problem of improving the technology of promoting goods and services for a retail trade enterprise. The importance of the place of the product in the trading floor as a way of promoting the product is studied in detail. The use of odors that can contribute to increasing the level of sales is justified. The value of the musical accompaniment in the trading floor is determined. The positive effect of using free packaging as a promotion tool was revealed. The importance of spreading information through word of mouth was also emphasized.
