Work of the Kuibyshev regional library during the Great Patriotic War

Based on the documents of the Central state archive of the Samara region, an attempt is made to consider the main directions in the activities of the Central library of the Kuibyshev region, which became the reserve capital in the first years of the great Patriotic war. Changes in the work of the institution, the form and methods of activity, and features of the use of premises associated with the outbreak of hostilities are considered. The article shows the assistance provided by the regional library to the front and the liberated territories of the country.
