The work of party bodies of the Gorky region with managerial staff during the Great Patriotic War

The article is devoted to the role of party bodies in the Gorky region in providing managerial personnel on different levels of power management and activities during the Great Patriotic War. Based on archival materials, the article analyzes the party organs work in selection, placement and retraining of the party apparatus staff, heads of enterprises and organizations of the region. The article determines the specificity of the Gorky region and problems facing the region in wartime: among them are the shortage of experienced managers, frequent transfer of staff. The author analyzes the role and basic directions of personnel work of party organs, problems of personnel management in the initial period of the war. The article contains information and statistical data that characterize management personnel, its content and results of the work with it.
