Working with text at Russian lessons when studying terms in grade 8 of schools with the Kyrgyz language of teaching

The article offers excerpts from the works of Ch.T. Aitmatov for use in Russian language lessons when studying phrases in the 8th grade of schools with the Kyrgyz language of instruction. Based on these texts, ways of connecting words in phrases are studied, students' abilities to distinguish phrases from words and sentences, to express their thoughts orally and in writing are revealed.
