According to the results of epidemiological studies conducted in Russia and CIS countries in 2013-2017, there was an increase in the incidence of dental caries, which indicates that primary prevention programs are ineffective. The article provides a rationale for the need for preventive work among high school students and proposes methods of antenatal prevention of dental caries without the intervention of a dentist during pregnancy.
