Radioecological model for transport of radioiodine and radiocesium in food chains after radiological accidents and discharge of radioactive substances to atmosphere for study of mechanism of formation of internal radiation doses to population. Part 5. Estimating some uncertainties in reconstructed internal radiation doses to the population

Бесплатный доступ

Analysis of uncertainties in reconstructed internal radiation dose was done. Uncertainties may be due to variation in a food diet of a specific person and the use of different models for dose estimating. In the absence of information on a person's food ration uncertainty in individual radiation dose calculated with the use of radiometry data may be 200%-300%; at the same time, uncertainties in average radiation dose to residents of a specific settlement due to variation in a food diet of the population do not exceed 25-35%.
