The results of studying of qualitative and quantitative structure of the Chernobyl radioactive nuclide emissions are stated. Results of natural researches of transformation of physical and chemical forms of radioactive nuclide contamination, their transport, allocation and migration in water ecosystems are generalized. The effectiveness of water-security hydraulic engineering actions is appreciated. Problematical character of protection of large rivers during the period of ecologically dangerous failures existing until recently is emphasized.
