Calculation of pressure for non-cavitation operation of the gear pump

Бесплатный доступ

In article the way of definition of the minimum pressure in the suction area in the gear pump, providing it non-cavitation operation is offered. The way is based on performance of a condition of indissolubility of a working environment at filling tooth cavities of gear wheels. The necessary expense is thus defined by a graphic-analytical method. Speeds of filling of tooth cavities by a working liquid on a suction area in the pump are defined. The minimum pressure upon an input in considered gear pump necessary for it non-cavitation operation is calculated. On the suction area upon an input in the aviation fuel pump, the minimum pressure excluding cavitation is calculated.
