A method for calculating geo induced currents at geomagnetic storms in the high-voltage power lines of electricity supply systems was developed. The estimation of the value geo induced currents in power lines voltage class 110 - 330 kW at different levels of intensity of geoelectrical field. Showing, that the magnitude of geo induced currents in power systems can be comparable with operating currents of high-voltage power lines.
