Calculations and experimental research in substantiation of structural materials irradiation conditions in BOR-60 reactor

Methodical experiment was performed to check a capability of needed irradiation condition support for different materials. A purpose of experiment is to support specified temperature of experimental rig elements during irradiation at a nominal level of reactor power. To achieve this purpose during rig designing some calculations were performed. Due to calculations, needed dimensions of isolating gas filled gaps were defined for each of experimental rig segment.
