The decay of the Mongol empire and formation of the Qing dynasty (17th - 18th centuries)

The paper considers the period of the decay of the Mongol Empire and the beginning of the Manchu expansion in the 17th century. For over 120 years, the Manchus gradually worked to disunite the Mongolian tribes that lead to the creation of the Qing dynasty, the sole ruler of the territory of modern China and Mongolia for about 300 years.
