Results of experiments on development of motor conditioned reflexes at gray seals at differentiation and choice the subjects on the sample are presented. The considerable role of preceding experience of ani-mals and orientation of their attention at formation the reactions to visual irritants are presented. The conducted researches testify to high level of generalization at the given kind of seals, however it is essen-tial lower, than at bottle-nose dolphins.
