Chemical elements di stribution in vascular system of patient s with ischemic heart disease

The results of chemical elements content in the wall of vessels different histological types (ascending aorta, internal mammary arteries, subcutaneous femoral vena) at 34 patients with ischemic heart disease are presented. Concentration of Ca, Fe, Mn, Cu, Zn, Ni, Se, Br, Rb, Cr, Sr, V, As was investigated by X-ray fluorescence elemental analysis. Samples of tissues were subjected to the control histological study. Shown that the metabolic processes disorders that occur in the wall of aorta and peripheral vascular at atherosclerosis, are reflected in the disbalance of macro-and micronutrients.
