Distribution and status of populations of certain rare plant species from the families Apiaceae, Orchidaceae and Paeoniaceae in the Far East Marine Reserve (Russia, Primorsky krai) were studied. Field work was carried out with the routing method in July 2015. Populations were examined en route in July 2015. 18 coenopopulations of 6 protected plant species ( Halosciastrum melanotilingia, Gastrodia elata, Liparis japonica, Liparis kumokiri, Tulotis ussuriensis, Paeonia obovata ) were studied. Several locations were discovered for the first time. Most coenopopulations of studied species were found in satisfactory condition. Numbers of individuals as well as age structure and area of these populations suggest their sustainable status.
