Prevalence of depression at the social service: two-stage study

Studying of prevalence of depression in the center of social service is carried out. It was two-stage study. Depression screening of 1 000 clients of the center is carried out at the first stage. Persons who have shown on screening risk of depressive disorder (69,0 %), are subjected to the psychiatric interview structured according to criteria ICD-10. It is revealed, that 29,9 % of clients of the social center have clinically expressed depression which authentically more often met at a female part of sample.
