In recent years, researchers are interested in study of burnout on postgraduate education stage (internship and clinical residency, an analog which is a residency abroad). The risk of development of burnout is high in residents with a high level of personal anxiety, neuroticism, insufficient empathy, traits of personality disorders and the type of behavior “D”. The interrelationship of formation of burnout with the level of work stress and workload was considered. Work stress among residents was associated with many factors - fear of making mistakes, lack of funds for the stay, additional responsibilities. Limitation of working hours gives a positive result in relation to the burnout. Belonging to a male or female sex may also play a role in the formation of the burnout. Thus, the study of the burnout risk factors in residents is important in carrying out preventive activities (formation of risk and work with it).
