Expanding the assortment of multi-tiered onions in the conditions of the Siberian region

The article presents the results of many years of breeding work on the culture of onions in tiered conditions of the Ob region of the Altai Territory. The data obtained made it possible to characterize the new variety as the most promising in comparison with the standard Memory variety. The period of "mass regrowth of leaves - the beginning of economic shelf life" of the new variety is 20-22 days. The yield of the green mass of leaves in the new variety exceeded the standard variety by 7.1% on average over the two years of the study, which amounted to 2 t/ha.
