Inconsistency of the norms about the beginning of proceedings in criminal cases of private prosecution

The article discusses the specifics of the initiation of criminal cases of private prosecution. The reasons for the changes in legislation that led to the inconsistency of criminal procedural norms governing the initiation of criminal prosecution in private are investigated. It is proposed to improve the legal regulation of this institution by making appropriate amendments and additions to the current criminal procedure legislation. This will increase the effectiveness of law enforcement in the framework of the proceedings under consideration.
