Separation of powers as a necessary component of state power mechanism

The article examines the features of the state as part of the political system, analyzes the signs of state power and methods of its implementation, as well as the interaction of this power and society. The conclusion is formulated that in modern conditions there is a decrease in the role of such methods as power suppression, coercion and administration in favor of the interests of the management of society. Special attention is paid to the characteristics of the concepts “mechanism of the state” and “mechanism of state power”, the differentiation between them. The authors emphasize the importance of unity of power and independence of each of its branches. The article examines the scientific views of legal scholars, and in some cases provides their critical analysis.
