Size-weight dependence of the shell of the Lymnaea stagnalis (Gastropoda) from the Askiz river valley water body (Yenisei river basin)

An equation of the size-weight dependence of the shell of Lymnaea stagnalis (Linnaeus, 1758) is proposed. It characterizes the pond shell population from the reservoir of the Askiz River valley (Yenisei River basin). The case of shells without the body of the mollusk was considered. The results of measurements and weighings of 80 shells were used to calculate the values of the coefficients of the power dependence equation. The correlation coefficient was 0.88.
