Reproduction of the species of ornithogalum in the conditions of Middle Volga region

Vegetative and seed propagation of 7 species of Ornithogalum under conditions of the Republic of Mari El have been studied. Epin influenced the germination of Ornithogalum seeds. A year later, the seedlings formed bulbs. Ornithogalum pyramidale, Ornithogalum flavescens, Ornithogalum zonatum and Ornithogalum boucheanum can be propagated using bulbs. Breeding ratio ranged from 1.0 to 54. Significant differences in the diameter of the Ornithogalum bulbs of the control and experimental groups have been not found. Ornithogalum magnym, Ornithogalum. flavescens, Ornithogalum pyramidale, Ornithogalum arcuatum can be propagated by seeds.
