Thinking of the essence of law: comprehended approach

Though, there have long been debates on the concept of "law", the essence of law, discussions on this issue continue. Moreover, every period brings its approaches in deciding the question of what is law and how to cognize it, new theories of knowledge of law, various views to understanding of law appear. Considering currently available theories of knowledge of law and scientific approaches to understanding of law, the authors conclude that each of these theories considers only one aspect of law, but it does not evaluate law comprehensively as a complex and controversial social phenomenon. Based on the above the authors propose and formulate a new theory of knowledge of law, which they call "comprehended" (all-encompassing) theory.
