Discrepancies in the author's approaches to the motivation of achievement in foreign and domestic sciences

The problem of motivation in sports is considered in the works of domestic and foreign researchers. The authors highlight the various components of the motivic structure, argue that the strength, direction and characteristics of motivation depends on the sports results and effectiveness of training activities.
