The variety of microorganisms in thermal springs Mogoyskiy and Shurindinskiy (Bauntovskiy area, the Republic of Buryatia)

Mogoyskiy and Shurindinskiy thermal springs were investigated. Springs are characterized by big variety of cyanobacteria. 7 families and 15 species of cyanobacteria were found out. Phormidium angustissimum, Ph. valderiae and Synechococcus elongates are dominating. Data on chlorophyll a shows that microbic communities of springs are highly productive systems, the basic producers in which are cyanobacteria. The highest value of general abundance of bacteria was defined in Shurindinskiy spring.
