Different destinies of Russian lawyers of the east branch of emigration in the 1920-1930-s

The phenomenon of Russian Faculty of Law in Harbin attracts attention of experts engaged in study of the history of education. Access to the archival materials, publication of new researches has allowed scholars to expand the source base and look at the destiny of White emigrants from a different perspective. The undertaken analysis of teachers' destinies reflects a kaleidoscope of events in which the graduates of leading higher schools of the Russian Empire were caught. It allows to estimate more reliably the mistakes and learn lessons from the recent past of Russia.
