Desinging e-book of memory of the victims of political repressions in the Republic of Buryatia

The political repressions in the Soviet Union in 1920-1950s were widespread. According to the researchers’ estimations, millions of people were convicted under Art. 58 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR (counter-revolutionary crimes). Hundreds of thousands were sentenced to death and executed, died in prisons in unfavorable living conditions [3]. Since 1991 in modern Russia there has been a process of purposeful rehabilitation of the victims of political repressions, returning good names to the illegally convicted. However, the access to the archival cases is still limited. In this connection, the information publication of the rehabilitated is of great significance, providing an easy and convenient search information about a particular person. The basis of the work comprises the materials of the published Book of memory of the victims of political repressions in the Republic of Buryatia.
