Designing energy systems is a complex process, which is characterized by significant resource costs (financial, labor, time), as well as many problems that arise at the stage of selecting facilities necessary for the functioning of the system. For reliable and efficient energy system design, it is necessary to develop an intelligent decision-making system that will allow you to quickly process large volumes of the necessary information, identify possible solutions to the problem of choice, and analyze the effectiveness of each option. The article is devoted to the development of an intelligent decision-making system for the selection of facilities in the energy sector. The analysis of the activity of intelligent systems is carried out, the trends and the need for the use of intelligent systems in the energy industry are considered.
