Development of the method of determination of welding stresses with temper colours

Бесплатный доступ

Proposed a method for nondestructive determination of the maximum temper stresses in welded joints on the distribution of temper colours after cooling down the joint. One-dimensional model is used to solve the inverse problem of heat during cooling after the weld butt welding of steel plates based on the location of the isotherms on the obverse and reverse sides of the plate, expressed a characteristic - the blue tint strip. This solution is used to determine the transverse residual stresses. The possibility of determining longitudinal stresses in the weld and heat affected zone in the transverse stresses and found the database on the relations between the longitudinal and transverse stresses, obtained by the drilling of probe holes.
