Development of a method for integrated rating assessment of the industrial and production potential of an enterprise

This article is devoted to the methodological foundations for assessing the industrial and production potential of an enterprise. The article reveals the theoretical essence of this category, clarifies the definition of industrial and production potential. The results of the author's research on the development of a methodology for rating the industrial and production potential are presented. Methodology based on the analysis and synthesis of known approaches. The authors proposed the division of the integral indicator into three components: the potential of the main production resources, the potential of circulating production resources, the potential of labor resources. For each block, a decomposition of key indicators was formed that reflects the efficiency of the use of a particular category of resources. It is based on a dynamic approach, that is, the growth rates of indicators in the analyzed period are estimated. Further, using the expert method, based on the calculated growth rates, the level of each indicator is determined. For this, a rating scale has been developed. Based on the level of indicators, the level of components is assessed, which, in turn, make it possible to determine the level of the integral indicator of industrial and production potential.
