Development of molecular markers for genotyping of Malus domestica

Бесплатный доступ

ISSR markers are one of the most common markers for genotyping and monitoring variability in plant species. Determining the genetic differentiation of plants of the same species is important for accelerating the breeding of agriculturally useful crops. In this study, more than three hundred microsattelite repeats were identified from two chromosomes of apple (Malus domestica), of which fifteen were selected. The data obtained will serve as a starting point for further testing of their performance and suitability for use in the laboratory.
