Аt the modern industrial enterprise the developed and used standard and technological documentation significantly influences the speed and quality of the manufactured products. The importance of documentation formed by technologists especially increases when from the enterprises in severe conditions of the competition production of the highest quality in a short time is required. The purpose of article is specification of a role of technological preparation of production in ensuring quality of innovative products, identification and classification of main types of the mistakes made when developing standard and technological documentation. The basis of a research was formed by works of economists on problems of the organization of processes of production of innovative products, and its technological preparation. In article the influence of standard and technological documentation on process of production and quality of innovative products is specified. The mistakes which are most often found when developing technological processes are revealed, examples of mistakes are reviewed, the causes of mistakes are shown in documents. The main groups of mistakes are created. As the principle the degree influence of mistakes on rates of production and level of marriage is used. is shown that by production of innovative products the development and the organization of procedures of fast and timely elimination of the mistakes in standard and technological documentation which are not assuming long multi-stage coordination and difficult bureaucratic procedures is necessary.
