Development of a circuit for battery charging control for a wind-solar power plant

The article presents the results of research on the development of a charger circuit for a low-power wind-solar power plant. The structure of the proposed structural diagram of a low-power solar-wind power plant includes: a wind-power plant generator; photovoltaic modules of a solar power plant; wind farm storage battery; solar power station battery; contacts of the control relays of the device for controlling the operating modes and charging the batteries. A feature of the developed circuit is that the device for controlling the modes of operation and battery charging includes traditional controllers for charging a wind and solar power plant, as well as a head controller and battery decoupling devices for the possibility of recharging the batteries of a neighboring system in adverse weather conditions. The head controller controls four control relays. Two switching relays are used to connect (disconnect) the charging circuit of one of the systems to the battery of the other system. Two more switching relays are used to control the operation of the batteries of the wind and solar power plants when operating on a common electrical load. Operating modes and control algorithm are determined by the requirements for charging and operating batteries.
