Development of a control system for an autonomous robot for school educational robotics

The purpose of this work was to develop a system for stabilizing the movement of the robot through an optimum path, to perform the task of "Line following," as a basis for information technology and the educational process in the field of intelligent robotics. The methods for managing an unstable object were demonstrated using the example of an automatic control system (ACS), and various regulators were compared according to the established quality criteria. The basis for creating the system was a classic PID controller. The controlled object was a robot, created on the basis of the LEGO Mindstorm construction blocks. System was developed using Java programming language.
