The article discusses the experience of using the “advanced consumers” method introduced by Eric von Hippel, professor at MIT Sloan School of Management, who, as a result of research, found that breakthrough innovative ideas often come from users who are often end users. As a result, it was concluded that the method can be used both to study the idea of new goods and services in the innovative company IMS, and to build a mechanism for constant work with advanced consumers. Such an approach can become fundamental when developing the basis of innovation in a company and creating a favorable environment for effective innovation.
