Development of a structural and functional approach to detailing an Archimate extension for the implementation of industry-targeted architectural solutions

The article focuses on development of a structural-functional approach to detailing Archi-Mate's motivational expansion for building architectural solutions within network companies. At the initial stage of the study, the definition of a structural-functional approach was identified, and its algorithm was developed to detail the motivational expansion. In accordance with the presented algorithm, the study of the structure of motivational expansion, its elements and their functional characteristics was carried out. In the course of the research, the main contradictions of the motivational expansion model and the elements that require detailed elaboration were revealed. As a result, detailing of individual elements for the implementation of industry-specific architectural solutions was proposed using the example of network trading companies. Development of a structural-functional approach to detailing the motivational expansion of ArchiMate, presented in the study, will optimize the costs of developing and implementing industry-targeted architectural solutions.
