The article presents the results of the development of technology for the restoration of replaceable multi-faceted plates. The calculated geometric parameters of the cutting tools, taking into account the modes and conditions of processing. The technology of restoration of replaceable plates on the front surface, which includes the operations of sharpening, burnishing and laser hardening. The recovered plates have been tested on semi-finished turning operations of ball valves, the resistance of the recovered plates is 10-20% lower than the resistance of the new plates.
