Development of a long-distance switch simulator based on simulation modeling of a queuing system

The process of development of a long-distance switch software simulator used in conjunction with automatic telephone exchange in special-purpose communication networks is presented. To reproduce real processes of work on the switch when serving subscribers, it is proposed to use simulation modeling, considering the work of operators to establish connections as a queuing system. The use of the simulator in vocational training improves the quality of training of engineering and technical personnel.
