The aim of the study is to assess the morphobiological characteristics of 29 varieties of Hemerocallis × hybrida in the forest-steppe zone of the Novosibirsk Region. The paper presents the results of a study of 25 varieties of foreign and 4 varieties of domestic selection for the period 2017–2020. It was found that early varieties of H. × hybrida began to bloom when the sum of positive temperatures >1114 °С, medium flowering >1284 °С. The duration of flowering was 45–65 days, from the first ten days of July to the first ten days of September. In the conditions of the forest-steppe of Novosibirsk, 5 early-flowering and 24 mid-flowering varieties were identified. The varieties had high biometric indicators for the main decorative characteristics. Variety specificity was noted in the formation of the number of generative shoots, flowers in the inflorescence, their size and plant height. The number (min-max) of flowers per inflorescence (4–46 pcs.), with a size of 11–21 cm in diameter is determined. The productivity of generative shoots ranged from 1 to 7 pcs for one growing season. The height of the plants varied from 65 to 70 cm (Daring Deseption, Double Firecracker, Pandora’s Box, etc.), 71–90 cm (Angel of Light, Caldery Stampede, Primal Seream, etc.), 91–107 cm (Dripping With Gold, Jan's Twister). The description of varieties with a long spring-autumn phenorhythmotype of development is presented.
