The Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) is not only the largest federal subject of the Russian Federation in terms of area but also encompasses a significant portion of the Arctic zone. Over the years, the Sakha Republic has systematically addressed the challenges associated with increasing the permanent population, both within the Republic and the Arctic region, while also striving to attract investors. Recent successes in overcoming these challenges can be attributed to the implementation of a new form of federal state support for investment activities and the effective governance of the Sakha Republic. The authors aim to comprehensively examine the experience of the Sakha Republic, with the goal of promoting its successful strategies throughout the broader Russian Arctic.
