Development of the road and transport infrastructure of the North Caucasus in the second half of the XIX century

This article is devoted to the analysis of the development of the road transport infrastructure of the North Caucasus in the second half of the XIX century. A description is given of the development of highways, dirt roads, bridges in the region, as well as the significance of their construction for the region. The main problems of the development of the road transport infrastructure of the North Caucasus in the second half of the XIX century are noted.
