Financial ecosystems development in the digital age: Trends and prospects

The article is devoted to the analysis of the formation and development of business ecosystems in the financial sphere in the age of the digital economy. It addressed key features of the ecosystem approach, such as the integration of different services, puts an emphasis on increasing customer loyalty and company competitiveness, and takes into account the role of digital platforms in shaping the ecosystem approach itself. An analysis of the ecosystems of major Russian companies, including Sber, Yandex, MTS, T-Bank and VK, was carried out, their strategies and development directions have been defined. Special attention was paid to the issues of government regulation, its impact on financial ecosystems and the risks of monopolization of segments of competitive business environment. The benefits and challenges of such models, their impact on traditional financial institutions and prospects for further growth were discussed. The key factors for successful development of financial ecosystems, including scaling strategies, interaction with partners and the creation of new market niches are considered. The impact of ecosystems on consumer behavior, competitive environment changes and business model transformation was analyzed. The necessity to adapt business to changing economic conditions by increasing cooperation, introducing new strategies, diversifying services and transforming business models in a digital era was proved. Based on the analysis, it was established that financial ecosystems are an important factor in the development of the digital economy, promoting the integration of products and services on a common platform, increasing customer loyalty and strengthening the competitive advantages of companies.
