This article deals with the development of mass physical education and sports movement in the Far Eastern region in 1945-1955. The author discusses the state policy aimed at the resolution of tasks in the sphere of physical training and sports, describes the work of the state authorities and departments managing the physical education and sports during the implementation of the state policy in the Far East.
