The development of the Russian gas industry in the era of sanctions pressure

This article examines the largest representatives of the Russian gas industry, analyzes their activities and results after the start of a special military operation and the imposition of sanctions by Western states. The possibilities of development of leading Russian energy corporations, including the prospects of opening new gas hubs and launching other projects in the context of declining exports to Western countries, were assessed. The influence of other factors, including natural gas prices, and the development of a green economy in Europe on the performance of the Russian energy sector has been studied. Based on the results of the study, a forecast is presented for the development of the Russian gas industry in the context of reorientation to new sales markets and recommendations are formulated for adapting the gas sector to the conditions of sanctions pressure on the Russian economy.
