Development of creative art abilities of students majoring in fine arts in the course of independent educational and creative work on painting

The article presents the research results concerning the problems of higher education in fine arts and pedagogics. The authors define the methodological bases and the scientific relevance of the researches, describe the original methodology of independent painting work developed and experimentally tested in the educational process. The authors' methodology supports the creative personal development of students majoring in fine arts (the course of independent still-life painting).
