Development and duration of the growing season of table beet varieties

The article presents the results of studies of table beet varieties in the conditions of the forest-steppe of the Ob region of the Altai Territory. The varieties differed in the time of the phases of vegetation. Five of the six studied varieties can be attributed to the middle-ripening group with a growing season of 100-120 days. These are varieties: Furor - 101.5 days, Havskaya - 102.5 days, Fortuna - 103.5 days, Red Ball - 109.5 days, Mulatto - 103.5 days. The Bordeaux variety 237 - 98.5 days belongs to the group of early-ripening varieties.
