Development of infrastructure for distribution of mutual investment funds securities

This paper explores the investment units distribution procedure. The author pointsto the high technological level of development of the Moscow Stock Exchange andits institutions as a condition for building a new distribution model of investmentunits. The article analyzes the creation of a centralized accounting infrastructureof mutual funds investment units. The author carries out a comparative analysis ofthe foreign and Russian experience in collective investment. The article defines thefeatures and advantages of the centralized systems of accounting for the investmentunits to involve investors in collective investment instruments.
