Development of gas network infrastructure for a sustainable energy sector

The article discusses current challenges and approaches related to the development of gas infrastructure in the context of achieving sustainability in the energy sector. The analysis of the impact of growing energy demand, climate change and technological innovations on the requirements in the gas infrastructure is carried out. Based on an interdisciplinary approach, the article talks about the importance of investing in modern methods of production, transportation and use of gas to ensure the long-term sustainability of the energy system. The presented results are important for the development of management strategies and investment in the infrastructure of the gas network.
