Development of infrastructure and service of railway tourism in the Russian Federation: experience and prospects

This article is devoted to a comprehensive and integrated study of the development of infrastructure and services for rail tourism in the Russian Federation, and also includes a detailed analysis of the accumulated experience and prospects for further growth of this sector. The study provides a thorough and comprehensive review of the current state of the railway network and rolling stock, with an emphasis on assessing the quality of services provided to tourists and the level of service in rail transport. Considerable attention is paid to the analysis of the impact of rail tourism on the socio-economic development of Russian regions, illustrated by successful examples of regional initiatives and projects that promote active tourism and increase the attractiveness of regions. The article also examines in detail modern technological innovations introduced into the railway sector and their impact on improving the quality of tourist travel and discusses the environmental aspects of rail tourism. A significant part of the study is devoted to discussing the opportunities and challenges facing this sector, with an emphasis on the need to coordinate efforts of the state and the private sector to ensure sustainable and successful development of rail tourism in the Russian Federation.
