Infrastructure development and territorial organization of towns in a region in the second half of 1960's - mid-1970's

The paper considers economic and cultural problems of some towns in a region. Causes of deep crisis and its expected impact on the economy of a region are identified. Some real threats to development of small towns are revealed: weak institutions of the construction and social infrastructure, low administrative activity, etc.
