Development of innovative hospital-replacing technologies in municipal health care institutions of Volgograd

We analysed the performance of day-care health establishments of various types (in out-patient, hospital and home settings) within 2003-2008 at municipal health care institutions of Volgograd. We draw comparison between day-care and round-the-clock hospital care, discuss the structure of bed profiles and the list of diseases suitable for day-care man ag ement.
